I recently came across a post that showed pictures of different dried human tears seen under a microscope. Tears of joy, tears of grief, even tears from onion vapors. The images (taken by Photographer Rose-Lyn Fisher)  are amazing, not to mention thought provoking. Each shed of tears is unique and has its own molecular structure. It really brought a deeper understanding to the words "tears are a language God understands".

Psalm 56:8 says "You have taken account of my wanderings; Put my tears in Your bottle. Are they not in Your book?"

In the heights of joy, in the depths of sorrow and in the plains in between: when words fail us and all we can do is cry out to God- He hears us, He understands, He knows. We pour out our honest heart's cries- and sometimes they are "better than a hallelujah".


Another set of images I came across were pictures taken by Dr Masaru Emoto, a Japanese scientist. All he wanted to do was take water from different sources, freeze it and photograph the crystals that formed under a microscope. The first thing he learned was that not all water formed crystals. Polluted and dirty water formed unpleasant structures while clean water formed beautiful aesthetically pleasing crystal formations. From that point of reference he also learned that humans had the power to change the nature of water. By praying music to it, by blessing it and praying over it, by speaking to it and even through the written word. Positive affirmations cause the water to form the beautiful crystal formations whereas negative words elicit distorted and ugly formations or none at all.

I don't know about you but to me that really says a lot. Are we not creative beings created in the image of THE Creator? Our words have power, to build or to destroy, to speak life or death. Not just to water but to everything in creation, most especially each other. After all, aren't humans 60% water?  And its interesting to note that the earth was fluid before formation. Genesis describes it as dark, formless and empty. Until the Spirit of God hovered above the surface of the deep and spoke life.

Matthew 12:36 But I say unto you, that every idle word that man shall speak, they shall give an account thereof on the day of judgement.
